Mike Jerome, the owner of BarkBusters has gained a reputation for doing honest, quality work. Despite the demands of a growing small business, Mike is available for his clients in a way that many larger businesses cannot afford to be. Mike has been in the business since 1997 when he began working for the former owner. Under the expertise of his boss, who was a World Champion Tree Climber, Mike learned the trade and honed his skill. Mike soon found himself amongst the more skilled climbers in the world as he racked up awards, winning the New England Championship four times. Then in 2002, his boss decided the day to day management of the Tree Service was too time consuming, preferring to focus more on teaching the craft of climbing than the business of Tree Service. Mike stepped up and bought the company. He has been the business owner ever since.
Mike is certified by the Mass Arborists Association, as well as, the National Arborists Association. As his business has grown, he has picked up the state Pesticide License in order to work in Pest Management also.
