Our experience with Chris DiManno has been terrible. We signed the contract, he took our money and did not perform according to the contract, even though we were willing to wait until the weather conditions improved. Communication has been horrible with many unreturned telephone messages and even an unclaimed registered letter. His agreement to return our deposit has not been carried out. The collection of these funds may be long and expensive.

Chris had his workers come out and powerwash to prep the house for painting the exterior. So far no problems other than worksite cleanliness was poor. They made little effort to pick up the paint chips. The job was supposed to start on a Saturday. No show and no phone call. Basically it toke me on average leaving 4 messages before I could get in touch to figure out when the job would be done. Not once did I get a phone call back. It got so bad that we considered filing in small claims court. I did finally get in touch and he came out with his crew to work. He did finish the job but with some mistakes. My bushes in front of my house were not protected. They now have a nice paint drip pattern on them. He never masked any of windows so I ended up scarping about 3 or 4 of them with a razor blade to remove the paint. He blatantly missed filling in a couple of hole in the siding. A simple inspection and quality check would have caught the mistakes. As a homeowner it was up to me to hold him to a standard. He did not take enough pride in his work to impress. I could have called him up to point out the mistakes and demand they be fixed but with all the prior frustration I did not want that hassle. Bottom line I would not recommend this company and would not use them again. I should have spent more money for a more reputable company.

We located Dimanno online and had them come out to give us a bid. They provided a bid to do a complete paint job on a 2 bedroom condo and we awarded them the job on August 7, 2011. They indicated that they would get it done right away. They provided a start and finish date and we had our property manager go out to inspect the work. It had never been started. We spent two days calling and leaving messages with no call backs. When we did get a call back, Chris Dimanno indicated that they were delayed and would start the following Monday or Tuesday for sure (8/15-16). On 8/20 I called Chris to check the status and got no call back, I repeated this through Tuesday 8/23. That evening I got a call back from his "secretary" indicating that they had been out there the past two days and that there was no access to the building. I explained that there was a lockbox on the door and Chris had the code. She said Chris would contact me back. I tried to reach Chris on Thrusday, not having heard from him, and left a message. I repeated this process through Monday 8/29 and finally got him to call me back. It was at this time that I had to fire them and locate a new contractor. Unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest, and not recommended is my review.
