WARNING...D&D ASSOCIATES IS OPERATING WITHOUT ANY LICENSES, PERMITS OR INSURANCE!!! THE INFORMATION ON THIS WEBSITE IS FALSE.

We hired D&D to remodel a bathroom. We paid half up front and 2 weeks later half of the balance. We are senior citizens. As this man did the work, we question problems that we saw. He was doing all the work with his wife and one hired "tile"man. Tile walls had to be torn out twice. The shower pan would not have held up. Our breakers kept blowing, When confronted and asked David Hairston to have his work checked, he became angry, refused, gathered his tools and left. (We never saw him again.) We called the local electrical inspector to ask to have our house checked. It was found to be unsafe in several areas, which he had covered with drywall. We were told that we were fortunate that our house had not caught on fire. The plumbing inspector came and said our new drains and toilet would not drain if they had been connected because he had plumbed then UPHILL and had used incorrect plumbing connections. In addition D&D had changed pipes beneath our house and we now had a leak. We also found out that he was not licensed to do contracting in Greensboro, his license in Winston Salem had expired months before. He had not gotten any permits to do the work. He was operating illegally without either a plumbing or electrical license and no one licensed was checking his work. We tried to file against his insurance and found out that it had been cancelled by the company more than 6 months earlier because of non payment. When he was contacted by the electrical inspector from Greensboro, he had his phone cancelled. When the Winston Salem Zoning Inspector tried to visit him at his advertised site, he found that he had been evicted for non-payment. Where is he? No one seems to know. But I imagine he is somewhere doing work for some other unsuspecting soul. We do not expect to get our money back. We were decieved and believed he was legitimate.

WE WOULD LIKE TO THINK HE WON'T DO IT AGAIN, BUT HE WILL. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS COMPANY, THIS MAN DAVID HAIRSTON AND HIS WIFE DEBORAH MORRIS, WILL DO YOU HARM. DO NOT BELIEVE HIM...HE LIES.
