The contractor is a con-artist, a crook, and a fraud.

We hired D&E Properties Management and Services LLC to do a home renovation and extension. The contractor, Derrick Burrell, Owner/President of this company has not honored the contract nor has he completed the job in a timely matter. He is a license and insured contractor. This contractor is a liar, a crook and a con-artist. This man has my family hard earn money and express to me " That I can sue him but it means nothing. All we will receive is a judgement". He told us that he is a LLC and he's not responsible for whatever happens to our home and monies. So, essentially you have a license to scam families out of their hard money. We asked. He responded "Take it as you wish but I'm going to do the job" It's almost 3 yrs later and the job hasn't been completed. We have been homeless for almost 3 years. The contractor gutted-out our home. There is no plumbing,electrical and gas. The house is a shell. Our home is worthless in its current state. We have pictures to support our complaint. The license contractor deceive us. He never fully obtain all the permits to do the job. Therefore, causing thousands of dollars in violations. We now have a "STOP WORK ORDER" on our home. It obvious that Derrick Burrell president and owner of D & E Properties Management and Services LLC has no intention to complete the job. Communication between us and the contractor is now nonexistent. The contractor has pocketed over 100 thousand dollars and left our family homeless. We don't have any money to finish the job. This is why we have been homeless for almost 3 yrs. Derrick Burrel is a crook,a con-artist and a fraud. The public should be aware of this Con-Artist. We are now homeless because of this crooked Contractor. We are currently taking legal action against him. Please post my review on this contractor and his company. We would not like to see another family suffer the same fate; hiring this crook.
