It is Thursday November 6, 2008 and we still cannot get in touch with Bill Griffiths. My job is still not totally completed yet, but he still hasn't made any efforts to be an honest and upstanding man and return some of my money to my family or me. I guess I will have to go legally and get what's rightfully my money that he owes me. I gave him over 2 months to be a man and return my money, but apparently, he has other plans. Bill, if you ever read this, remember my kids, and the money you took from their future!!!! You are not a nice person, you can't be trusted, and I want my money back!!!!!! Come on, be a man, not a coward, pay up Bill, it would be the proper thing to do if you have a conscience.

UPDATE: It is now Tuesday October 7, 2008 and I still can't get in touch with Bill Griffiths, and he still has my $48,000 for the unfinished job. It seems he vanished!! It is an aweful shame he vanished after taking a boat load of money off of me, my wife, and my children, and I imagine he did it to other people also. Worst business experience I've ever had.

Try to call his business number, 724-961-9088 and you'll get a "Sorry, this voice mail box is full, please try to call back later" and it's been this way ever since the second week of August. Not a good business practice after you take the customer's money and abandon them.

This contractor did approximately $28,000 worth of work on my house and took $48,000 from me and quit showing up to do any more work on my house. He promised me in February that my new addition with full basement to be concreted and whole home siding with a new front entry way would be completed in the first week of May 2008. I am still waiting for my concreted floor, my house is approximately 70% sided with no gutters or downspouts, none of the face wood is flashed with aluminum, totally exposed to the elements, the siding he put up is not wrapped underneath at all, he did not complete the bathroom in the addition, I'm left without a toilet, sink, light fixtures, and I have a tub I cannot use. The inside of the family room is not completed. Without gutters and downspouts, my cellar is taking on all kinds of water whenever it rains. He has all of the money for the job, but has quit working on my project, and it is now August 25, 2008. He scammed me, and I feel stupid that it happened to me, but I hope he never gets the chance to scam anybody else ever again. I have to pay different contractors to come in here and finish the job he left, and the bad thing is that he already has the money that I paid him to complete the job, so this means that I have to go and spend more of my hard earned cash on something that I had faith in him to do and he didn't pull through for me.
