BEWARE!!!
If it wasn't for the subcontractors this company would be out of business. Scott is the main contact and he is a complete joke in every sense of the word. Luckily for Scott, he has managed to find adequate subcontractors that do good work but that doesn't make up for his lack of business etiquette. During the construction, I was given a timetable that was not even close to accurate and when I discussed with the subcontractors they were 'shocked' that I was told the timeframe that was communicated by Scott. Later, Scott visited our home to drop off his snowblower which I was expected to store for him during the duration of the project...no, I am not kidding. During that same visit, Scott managed to clog our toilet which had to be plunged by my pregnant wife and thoroughly cleaned as I was out of town...again, not kidding. Three months after the work was completed, the floor has begun to buckle in one area. I contacted Scott (should have taken the subcontractors information) and was told that they would resolve the issue. I've called him twice a week for 5 weeks and again and again am promised that he'll be out to fix it - long story short, I'll be paying another company to fix the work done by Absolute Dust Free Flooring. With so many other options out there...look elsewhere.

Aside from the enormous pain and suffering, including harassment and threatening remarks, non-completion as well as untimely completion, caused by Scott Parvin (Absolute Dust-Free Wood Flooring) and his workers, Matt and Greg Rychlik, the work completed to replace and refinish my hardwood floors is completely unsatisfactory and needs replaced in it's entirety. Additionally, damage was done to various areas of my home that has not been compensated for. Agreed upon and advertised materials were not used, leading to the use of harmful chemicals while I was 8 months pregnant. In this process, Scott Parvin tried to deceive me with the false products and lied every step of the way. Damage was done to my newly painted walls and woodwork/trim, including handprints, gouges, holes, and various other markings. When I raised concerns, I was promised that the walls and woodwork would be repaired and repainted. In addition to damaging the walls and woodwork, my kitchen faucet was also broken rendering it unusable and the closet doors in the second bedroom were broken and, now, cannot be re-hinged. Finish, wood glue or some product ruined the top of our entertainment center and I have not been able to get it off. Several other problems arose due to non-completion of work promised. The nail holes in shoe/quarter-round were not filled/painted, the area between the shoe/quarter-round and baseboards was not filled/painted, the dishwasher was not replaced properly, and the base to secure the French doors was not re-installed. An entire section of flooring in the family room was not replaced as agreed upon and does not match the newly installed floors. Additionally, the entire sub-floor was supposed to be replaced. It was not replaced and when I questioned it, was told it was too difficult thought this is what was agreed upon. The work that was completed is not even close to satisfactory. Not only does a section of the living room still not match, other areas feel like sandpaper and need to be re-sanded and refinished. There are drops of finish and scratches on the second bedroom floor, an indented scratch near the doors, and also spaces around the turn board that did not get filled in before the sanding and refinishing. There are spaces between planks ALL over the floors. In the hallway alone, there are two spaces between planks that run the entire length of the hallway. In addition to the unacceptable spaces between planks that essentially look like empty black holes, there are places that the planks are not even long enough to reach the trim/woodwork. In those spaces, there are gaping holes between where the plank stops and the trim starts. In some areas, the workers even put caulk so the quarter-round/shoe pushed out to cover the gaps. This is completely unacceptable and will require the replacement of not only pieces of the wood floor, but also the shoe/quarter-round. Also, the floors will need to be completely re-sanded and the gaps/spaces between planks filled. Then, they will, again, need to be refinished. The time that it will take to complete this work will be a complete inconvenience, especially because we were already inconvenienced when the work took much longer than promised and still was not completed. We will, again, have to move all of our furniture, and, again, will have to spend time out of our home due to chemicals. I do not feel safe with Scott Parvin or any of his workers in my home because of the deceit poor workmanship that has already occurred. Additionally, I have been harassed and threatened by Scott Parvin and his workers, including Matt Rychlik, who also wished ill will on my unborn son, stating that he hoped the fumes from the products used were so bad that they caused my unborn son to be retarded and have birth defects, and that it would be "courtesy of him."
