My mortgage is fixed at 5.5%. My wife and I bought our house about 4 years ago when interest rates were really great. It was tempting to go with an adjustable rate because the rate was even lower but we decided not to take the change.How have you decorated rooms with a low slanting ceiling due to dormer windows? I have two such rooms. One is large enough that it's not really a problem. The other room is smaller, though, and I'm really at a loss when it comes to what to do with it. So far it's unused and turning into a sort of storage room, but I really want to make it usable. I'll appreciate any and all ideas!

That sounds like a nice idea, Lydia... thank you. :-) I wish my two dormer rooms would be the same size but one is quite large and the other a lot smaller than I'd prefer... makes decorating a little more challenging.
