| Project Description: I am finishing the basement in our 87 year old house. I have partitioned off a laundry room and a furnace room as well as installed a stud wall in front of the exterior walls. The finished space will be 300 sf. The existing concrete floor is in good shape but is sloped 3 inches from one side to the other. My original plan was to install a wood subfloor with radiant tubing to make it level and finish with ceramic tile on backer board. Head space is an issue due to ductwork. I am open to any cost effective alternatives and pricing with and without radiant heating. |
