I hired Brand Construction to remodel my kitchen and what Darrell Shannon told us would be a 3 week project turned into a 12 week project with several thing not completed. I had replace the floors in my kitchen and living room prior to this job and his construction team messed up 7K flooring job in the kitchen which was never fixed now we have to hire someone else to come and fix the floor. His workers which do not speak english nor read it did not read the instructions on how to prep the french doors before painting because the paint started peeling off within 3 weeks of them being painted. The wall where a door had beened that his workers closed off was not sealed at the bottom and now sand and dirt flies in under the wall when the wind blows. I would never recommend this company to work...more

Replacing a hot water valve that connects to the washer
I was hoping to get some feedback on how much this repair would be cost wise? And would it be cheaper if I were to buy the valve and just pay labor? Thanks!

Doorbell Button Replacement Issue
I had to replace the doorbell button on my wired doorbell. The lighted plastic part in the old button broke. When I installed the new button, it seems to have a problem. With the old button (no longer manufactured - company went out of business), you pressed and released the button and the entire doorbell chime sequence played. With the new button, you have to keep the button depressed to play the entire chime sequence. As soon as you release the doorbell button, the chime sequence stops immediately. There were only 2 wires connected to the old doorbell button and I simply attached those to the two contacts on the new button. Any idea why the entire sequence does not play and how I might resolve this so that pressing the button once and releasing it will play the entire chime sequence? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays to all!
