Project Description: The city of Dearborn (in Michigan) code requires a landing to the back door at least 3ft by 3ft. I would like the price including permits to get it done with wood , ( Cheapest method). I was told something about having to drill down at least 42 inches for the posts to avoid the freeze line on the patio. I'm on a tight budget to get this house done. The City requires along with the permit 3 scaled drawings of the landing. I'm interested in free estimates/qoutes.

Larry tore up the flowers around the porch that he was building and said nothing about it. Instead of him disposing of the wet, unused concrete, he dumped it in the rear yard. When I noticed and mentioned it to him, he removed it. After he was paid, later I found that heavy concrete in my garbage cans for my disposal. Also, he told me that he was coming back to rake up the loose concrete clumps throughout the flower bed and lawn. He never came back and stopped taking my calls. Needless to say, the concrete top slab has begun to crumble..It has been less than a month. Yes, I checked references...I believe he did a better job for them as I indirectly knew one of them and his property is worth considerably more than my small house. What is so stupid is ...more
