Each member is technically their own quality control supervisor. However,
by joining HandyAmerican.com members agree to adopt the following HandyAmerican.com
Ethical Code of Conduct as their own business code conduct guideline.
This type quality control management not only preserves the high level
of quality services associated with HandyAmerican.com. It provides a win-win
platform for success; for project owner and service provider alike.
Members who willfully violate this code risk immediate cancellation of
membership.
Personal Conduct
By using the Handy American.com web site and all related services, members
agree to abide by the HandyAmerican.com Ethical Code of Conduct as outlined
below:
- Members will honor all obligations and commitments to project owners,
employees, and suppliers.
- Members pledge that all testimonials displayed on HandyAmerican.com
are legitimate; written by actual customers.
- Members pledge that all credentials, licensure information, photos,
and other information displayed on HandyAmerican.com are, to the best
of their knowledge, accurate and legitimate.
- All members will demonstrate a willingness to interact positively
with other members; maintaining a high level of integrity during all
business dealings.
- Members will not abuse HandyAmerican.com’s platform to engage
in any form of harassment or offensive behavior. This includes but is
not limited to: communications, pictures, videos, or audio recordings
that contain libelous, slanderous, abusive or defamatory statements
or racist remarks; or pornographic, obscene, or offensive language,
references, or images.
- Members will maintain and respect the privacy of all customer contact
information, and will take proper steps to ensure the security of the
customer’s home when hired to complete a project.
Advertising
All advertising and sales literature shall be truthful and accurate; free
from misleading statements and false claims.
Contracts
All contracts shall be free of ambiguities or omissions that would obscure
or confuse either party’s obligations. When entering into a contract,
members promise to honor all agreements and contract terms to the best
of their ability.
*Code Conduct Violation Consequences
In the event of a customer complaint, members found to be in violation
of one or more aspects of the above stated HandyAmerican.com Ethical Code
of Conduct risks immediate membership termination.
HandyAmerican.com reserves the right to cancel offending member privileges
with no financial refund to the member. Members will have no recourse
whatsoever against Handy American.
*By using the HandyAmerican.com web site and all
related services, members automatically agree to abide by the HandyAmerican.com
Ethical Code of Conduct as detailed above. Failure to do so risks immediate
termination of membership with no compensation to the offending member.
